Giveaway time!

Hullo and a happy Monday to you all! I'm starting the week with a little giveaway, I've been trying to sort out my studio out a bit and am forcing myself to part with some of my fabric stash, it's out of hand! I find it so hard to part with craft supplies, even if I know I'll never use it. So I thought it would be nice for someone to make use of this fabric and make it easier for me to part with it!
So I have 2 bundles of fat quarters of fabric to give to one lucky person! One is a mixture of my own designs: screenprints and digital prints with hand printed overlays and digital embroidery - quite a lot of work has gone in to each piece and you'll find various animals hiding within - owls, deer, swans and foxes...
The other bundle is a selection of Japanese fabrics which are really beautiful - I got these on my travels but have never known what to do with them. I think I bought them in Kyoto, textile central in Japan. They are probably off-cuts from kimonos.
To enter, either leave a little comment letting me know which bundle you would like, or follow me on Twitter and retweet the giveaway (or both for an extra chance to win!). Don't forget to let me know which bundle you would like to win...
I'll announce the winner at the end of the week. Good luck! xx

Hello Nell! Liz's friend Ellie here.

Both bundles sound absolutely beautiful. I know that yours will be fabulous and the Japanese fabrics sound so unusual.

I couldn't possibly decide which one I wanted more! It must be hard for you to let go of them. I'm just in the process of making up some cushions for Rosie's room and can really see your lovely simple animal prints working in there. And yet I think I would naturally lean towards for oriental styles. Hmmm.

Hello! I'm terrible for hanging onto things and never using them, must let go!

Hello! Both sound great... i have a bit of a passion for Japanese fabric and patterns, but then I am a fabric/surface pattern addict anyway!

Love your work. Haven't seen it before so the post via Manchester Craft on Facebook was a nice little discovery this afternoon! xx

Hello Nell, both bundles look beautiful and I also have a thing for Japanese fabrics but I love the idea that you designed the other bundle and they look particularly great so I'd like to win those please!

Nicola.

Hello Nell :)

While getting my weekly fix of embarrassing bodies and finishing part of my grandma's flower garden quilt ( a very standard night in for me) I came across your blog and saw the give away your having.

I had a quick look at your other stuff and realised that I've actually visited your shop in the craft center...i knew the name rang a bell! I bought a custom made bib for my cousin Flo Fletcher with a little monkey on it, as a sort of 'welcome to the world' prezzie :D

Anyway, I really love both bundles of fabric, and i'd like them both, but I understand how that might be a bit greedy. Judging by that you can tell I'm a bit of a complusive fabric hoarder myself, and I'm always on the hunt for beautiful little one off pieces of fabric.

I can see the hand printed and deer stitched fabric pieces being part of another quilt I'm currently working on, with lots of different colours and patterns (I've become a little mad on quilting since my last art exam) And I'd be more than happy to come in and show you what I've made as I work in manchester myself :) Hehe, hope my rambling has given me a fair chance to win!

Hazel - I have to be fair! Into the hat you go with everyone else :)
Alex - I remember doing that bib! I did a matching poster for them too :)
I'd love to see what the winners do with the fabric, exciting stuff! x

I'm visiting your blog regularly to keep in touch with your work since I met you at the screenprinting workshop and I still really love it! I'm making purses and pouches at the moment, these beautiful fabrics would be very welcome! I prefer the handprinted ones ; )
See you at the Craft and Design centre! (I haven't been there for ages, I need to update!)

I love new inspiration and often turn to fabric for this, ive had the pleasure of seeing your work in person at the craft centre and think its some where all artists and crafters should visit as it starts the creative juices flowing. Keep up the fabulus work.xx
